Secondhand Hangover

Drug and alcohol abuse is more than a disease that controls the life of the addict; it affects the lives of all those associated with the person, and is an enormous problem for the child of an addicted parent. This program produced by Reel Grrls, an organization for teenage girls that trains them in video production and media skills, including animation, cinematography, script writing and more. "Secondhand Hangover" tells the real-life stories of life of three young women growing up as the children of alcohol/drug addicted parents, and how they have struggled with their parents' addictions. It will leave the viewer with a better understanding of the effects addiction can have on teens from a teen point of view.

Stories include "Dear Stranger", "Breaking the Cycle" and "Love You, Hate Your Addiction".
