Created by Alaska native teens in their Teens Acting Against Violence (TAAV) program, this DVD addresses teen dating violence and shows ways to help develop positive relationships. TAAV is comprised of 20 teens ranging in age from 12 to 16, and is primarily a performance-based support group that allows at-risk teens to discuss important issues, such as date rape, alcohol, drugs, suicide, and dating violence in a safe environment. The members then create skits which they perform at schools and community gatherings in numerous villages throughout the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta in Western Alaska in an effort to raise awareness and educate communities about these issues.
