A collection of vignettes, told from the perspective of three teenage boys, on the verge of manhood, who face the realities of relationships. This video looks at how these teens deal with issues of fatherhood, peer pressure, passion, STD's and taking responsibility. Focused on urban youth Choices looks at the results of unprotected sex as well as maintaining self esteem in relationships.

  • Written by teens from inner-city Orlando and directed by Tamara Jenkins (Slums of Beverly Hills) and produced by Susan Stover (Laurel Canyon, High Art). The film was created in partnership with Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

These award-winning films, written by teens, for teens, and produced by accomplished Hollywood directors get young people talking about their lives, their choices and their world. They are produced by Scenarios USA, a non-profit organization that uses writing and filmmaking to foster youth leadership, advocacy and self-expression in teens.

Teens are asked to write stories about issues that shape their lives for their an annual writing contest, and thousands have responded with raw and revealing insights. These young people have written about peer pressure, body image, pregnancy scares, HIV/AIDS, self-esteem, friendship and commitment, and their stories have been made into high-quality short films in partnership with the young writers, and some of Hollywood’s finest filmmakers.
