This session includes the perspectives of Anna Schmidt, NYU's Assistant Director of Academic Development; Laurel Christy, the Associate Director of Residence Life at New York's School of Visual Arts, and Katie Koestner, national student safety expert. The session covers the ways predators are targeting teens, the ways in which college admissions officers and corporate placement agencies are using technology and how this affects students.
Program 2 provides practical approaches to effective studying, time-management, and coping with academic stress. The session panelists include a current college student at Wellesley, Claire Shindler from the Bureau of Study Counsel at Harvard University, and a representative from the Pforzheimer Learning and Teaching Center at Wellesley College
